Back to Reality
Back from Costa Rica and I must say...it was pretty awesome. I'm really glad I got the opportunity to go, but now I'm back home. We took a bus into San Jose and stayed Monday night in the city, then got up on Tuesday and went to the airport to catch our flight. We transferred through Ft. Lauderdale, and had layover of 2 1/2 hours. It wasn't too bad though, because we honestly thought we would be stuck there alot longer due to all the crazy flooding in Georgia. Seriously, it was bizarre. We even saw news coverage of the flooding in our area on Spanish news!! We completely missed all of it, because since I have been back it has been beautiful and sunny!
Continuing in my traveling fashion, I have already booked my next trip...and I even more excited about this one! I am going on a cruise to the Bahamas with 3 of my lovely friends. I have been to the Bahamas before, but I know that I can't possibly not have fun with these girls! Two things I have yet to start on though, are running and graduate school applications! I had to completely re-write my resume, since the only place I had it was on my computer that was stolen last Christmas. So I have that done, so next step is to send to a few people and get some recommendation letters, and also at least start on the application itself, which shouldn't be any problem. I am applying to: Kennesaw (as a last resort honestly), UGA, Ga Tech, and Ga State. I am also thinking that I might apply to one of those schools for a different graduate degree, not an MBA, because I might have a better chance of getting in since MBA programs are so hard to get into, not to mention in high demand because of the economy.
Even though I'm not in school or working, I still feel like I am super busy! I can't believe that Sept. has already almost come and gone, and October is looking pretty full!
-Cruise-Oct. 2-5
-Kings Of Leon-Oct. 9-so excited!!
-Dad's Birthday-Oct. 12
-Wedding shower for my friend Katie-Oct. 17
-And somewhere in there I want to go camping for the weekend with A, but we both have to work around our schedules. AND, of course I can't forget about Halloween!! Everyone who knows me knows how much I love Halloween-and dressing up!
I also need to start running!!! I am starting today, I swear! Now that I am back and caught up from my trip-it is time!
